Tossed Tangy Pasta with Italian Sausage
This is based on someone else's recipe but I changed up some ingredients.
1 Bag Penne Pasta
1 lb Italian Sausage
2 Cups Cherry Tomatoes
2 Red Bell Pepper Cut into strips
2 T Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
0 Parmasean Cheese (to garnish)
Cook pasta and drain, set aside.
peel and brown sausage in a large pan, set aside, reserve 2 T of drippings.
Saute garlic and peppers until soft in drippings
Add tomatoes to mixture, saute until tender
Mix in drained pasta and sausage
Add balsamic Vinaigrette, heat through
Serve in bowls and sprinkle with parmesean cheese
Makes 4 servings.
