Sittin' on a Sulcatta

We went to visit the Castro Valley Turtle & Tortoise rescue where I adopted Augustus, back in June.  No every day one gets to sit on a 200 lb tortoise!

I will be taking Augustus up to them so they can make sure he is fit for hibernation, which is just about 6 weeks away. Hopefully he'll be ready.  He's a picky eater!  I gave him some avacado and he really is liking that....wandering around with a green mustache...
