Under the Knife Time
September 29, 2022
So, tomorrow, I will be going under the knife to address "a couple of issues" that have been a problem for me for many, many years. I'm a little bit scared; I guess this is normal. But, I've been through a battery of tests that show my body is ready to go for this!
I heard this procedure is life changing. When I got rid of weight a few years ago, a certain area of my body did not 'get the memo' about the weight loss. I inherited this 'wonderful trait' from both grandmothers; it mercifully skipped my mom and my sister. I am glad to be getting this done so I can be free of neck & shoulder achiness I've endured for more than 2 decades! I predict that by Tuesday, October 4th, I'll be feeling pretty darn good and at risk for overdoing it.
With my lifestyle of a little over 18 months ago, a lot of changes have occurred inside my body, and inside my mind and spirit. When I am recovernig from this procedure, I plan on getting back into a more physically fit condition. The stress test showed me to be healthy, no weirdness in my heart or circulatory system, but my puffiness said "get off your butt and exercise!"
So, I will.
More later!
