Charcoal the Borg

So I came home from work and Charcoal came in as he sometimes does.  It was dark...he had dinner then sat on the living room coffee table - a slick spot on his forehead.  Oh great...so I whisked him off to the vet and he came home today looking like this...

We had a pure white cat named Squeak who wound up looking like this one time, sans the 'lamp shade.'  It looked worse on Squeak because he was pure white.  I have to medicate Charcoal and put stuff on his wound (eeeew).  He looks like a science experiment...poor guy.  The worst part is he has to stay indoors for 2 weeks!
