...when what to my wondering eyes should appear?

It was an impossible dream, so I thought.  I had my criteria, knew what would work, but knew it was a long shot. 

• I wanted a Heritage Softail
• I wanted a bike at a really killer price
• I wanted something clean.

Then I started looking at Facebook marketplace, and found it...a  2006 with not even 4300 miles on it.  The price was right, and the color - my favorite color.  We had to make quite a drive to get it - and on the day before Thanksgiving of all days!  The most well traveled day of the year, if I'm not mistaken (ask Steve Martin)...

Obviously, it worked out, and we met some super nice people who were selling it.  She just texted me to see how I love my new baby and we would up on the phone and I have a new friend. 

You just never know what the universe has in mind.  My new lifestyle has brought wonderful things, and I believe the course of events with a new bike and some great people are part of it.  They are moving to Texas, and she said I've brought great karma to them.  I hope I have!

So now, I can continue to ride.  I have 40,000 miles riding experience - dropped it off 5 years ago and I'm picking it up again.  I'm going to grab a handful and go!
