Honey Champagne Mustard Copycat = SUCCESS!

Honeybaked Ham Company evidently changed ownership sometime between Easter and Christmas of 2023. In doing so, they dropped their old, tried and true Honey Champagne mustard recipe. I found this on Christmas when I served up the ham. What a rude awakening that was!
The new recipe has dill in it. It's fine, except that the old version of the mustard without the dill is no longer available. I was incensed!
Inside story here - I get a spiral cut ham at my local Grocery Outlet store - have done this for years. I spend about $60 less, the ham is still delicious, and I go buy the "magical mustard" at the Honey Baked Ham store. I had an ample supply, so maybe the mustard recipe went south well before last Christmas.
I started searching for a copycat recipe and found a few and went with the one that uses Coleman Mustard. I substituted the sugar noted in the recipe with honey - it called for 3/4 cup of sugar but I looked up the equivalent of honey since honey IS in the name, and went with that. I was very happy with the result!
